HEY PEOPLE! :) Yeah, I know it's been a long, long time since I last updated my blog. So, here I am again, blogging. Hee.
Well, just so you know, I came back from Hong Kong yesterday night. & you know what? I was in the same flight with a Hong Kong superstar the whole time :D LEO KU. & when we arrived at the KLIA Airport yesterday, he was in the same train thingy as me too. Just right in front of me. So I was basically staring at him the whole time. Haha. (So to those fans of Leo Ku out there, please take note that Leo Ku's in Malaysia now!)
I know this is not something special to talk about, but I still think I somehow have this kind of fate with superstars. LOL. Know why? While I was in Shanghai during my vacation, I saw another boy band. And this time, it's a Taiwanese band: Lollipop aka Bang Bang Tang(In Chinese). teehee. They were right in front of me too. Anyway, I'm not really a fan of those people, but still, I think I'm lucky enough to see them. :p
By the way, I think this post is going to be a very long one.. So please prepare yourselves. Hah. Okay, I'm going to start blogging from my Shanghai trip right till the Hong Kong one now.
-----------------
On the first day of my vacation in Shanghai, nothing much was really going on. But I can't deny the fact that Shanghai's traffic is really terrible. Every second the bus driver will horn. It's like a daily thing for them already. Anyway, we arrived at Shanghai about 6 something in the morning. Very early huh. After that, we went for our breakfast then went to some places for window shopping. And later in the evening, Melissa&I went for the jacuzzi in our hotel. It was great & it really felt like I was in a hot spring. :D We had our dinner at "Ye Shanghai", a typical shanghai restaurant. The food that they served was kind of big in portion. :) So yup, that's about it for my first day.
The second day was something different. Everyone of us woke up very early in the morning to catch the bus to the water village that's called: "Zhou Zhuang"(In Chinese of course). It was indeed a good experience being there to see how everything looked like during the olden days. We left around afternoon for lunch. Skip skip skip... At night, we had our dinner at this western food restaurant called: M On The Bund. The size of their servings was not too big but just nice. I liked their food and especially the desserts that they served. It was so good that I think I can't have any like those back in KL.
The next day was interesting. Hee. Why is that so? Because we went to Madame Tusauds(Wax Museum. Reminds me of the movie House of Wax. hah.) and then to the Science Technology Centre. LOL. I sound so nerdy there. :p Well we took lots of pictures while we were at the wax museum. So I'm going to post the pictures up later. After the wax museum, some of us, including me did pay a visit to the scream park next to the wax museum(it's something like a haunted house actually). It was extremely scary and at the same time exciting. Haha. But I can tell you, I basically looked down and screamed like no one's business throughout the whole thing. After that, we went for our lunch and then to the Science Centre. What can I say about it? Hmm it has definitely a lot of interesting stuff in there. All of us(the children) went around every part in the Science Centre expect for the adults. It was like an adventure for everyone of us. Hehee.
The following day everyone had to wake up very early again just to travel to HangZhou. The main reason that we're going there is for the scenery and also the silk museum. The minute we arrived there, we went to this sort of historic building called: "Wong Fei Tap". After the sight seeing and so, we then went to Crystal Jade Restaurant for lunch. After lunch was done, we went to the one & only silk museum in HangZhou(I think so). Blah blah.... I'm skipping the night part.
The second last day was kind of in a rush. First thing in the morning, we went to a street that sells all kinds of stuff like pearls, mirrors, antiques, tea pots, so & so... This place was also the place where I shopped for all my friends' Christmas gifts. Hee. Anyway, after that, we went to Parkson. One word: CROWDED. Parkson's building itself was already filled with I think hundreds or maybe thousands of people. & that was also the reason why I didn't really get to buy anything, in fact, I never got a chance to buy things from there even though it was on sale. I know, what a waste right.
Okie dokie, so that's about it for my Shanghai trip. I know it sounds boring, but seriously, I really enjoyed during my stay in Shanghai. It was somehow the best group trip ever. Yeah, ever. :)
_____________
On the other hand, about my Hong Kong trip, it wasn't anything different than my usual trip to Hong Kong, except the fact that this time, we travelled to Hong Kong with Melody's family too :) We didn't really do much on the first day besides eating. What to do, Hong Kong's best known for their food & of course, also shopping!
Anyway on the next day, only the children: Kendrick, Melody, Melvin, Me, Gerrick & Klara went to Ocean Park. We went there all by ourselves without the help of any adults. :D So we basically had to figure out the way to travel there & back by ourselves. But frankly, it was fun & also a great experience having the chance to go to some place without any parent guiding or so. :) Also, while we were at Ocean Park, we managed to play only 3 rides due to the crowd and the long queues. The first two rides were sort of kiddie, which was the Space Wheel & the Eagle. Hah. I bet you guys have no idea what I'm talking about. Hmm, but the last one was something thrilling that I've sat before back when I was in Hong Kong during form2. It's called The Dragon. Lol. Does it sounds familiar to you? Because it's almost the same name as the roller coaster in Genting Highlands'. After the rides, we went to play some games in the theme park. Almost everyone of us manage to win something back, including me! Heh. I won a cow soft toy.
The third day was finally a shopping spree for the ladies&girls! We ate(obviously) & then we went to one of daddy's suppliers place. Bought lots of pretty clothes from there. And I was really lucky to purchase a lot of Juicy Couture tops at a very reasonable price. I'm going to skip what happened after that..
So the last day was also another shopping day for all of us! We went to a lot of places & shopping malls. I even got to buy a lot of stuff from the Duty Free Shop at a very very good price. *grins* At night after dinner, we decided to pay a visit to Mongkok(best known as sport shoes street). And needless to say, I did get to buy shoes from there. :p
In conclusion, my trip to Hong Kong this time, I bought:
- A lot of Guess jeans
- Three Juicy Couture tops
- A DKNY black dress
- Three cardigans
- A Polo Ralph Lauren's long sleeve shirt
- A pair of Little Miss Naughty sport shoes from Adidas
- A pair of shoes from Keds
- A Nike bag
- A limited edition backpack from LeSportSac
- The latest Daisy by Marc Jacobs perfume
- Juicy Couture's perfume
- One leather glove
- Two scarfs
- & the list goes on....
Okay people, I know this post has bored you to death. So alrighty, I'm ending this post now & I'll be posting the pictures that we've taken in Shanghai later!
XOXO
