Be who you want to be, not what others expect of you;

Final update for Easter trip!

7 August 2015
Last night in LA

Our last day in LA was rather chill.. Just walked around Rodeo Drive again, visited more shops, and of course some other shopping malls that we have not covered :)

At Beverly Hill's very own "Spanish Steps". Finally get to come here personally and have a picture taken here :p

The puppy that was clinging onto me when I visited Satine Boutique.

Tried out Umami Burger instead of the famous burger in Cali: In-N-Out Burger.

What I've ordered: some beef truffle burger :p

YUMS. Guilty as ever but so good, heh.

The outdoor swimming pool at Mr C's.

A picture together at the hotel waiting area before we headed back to Westfield's for some Asian food and to catch the Insurgent movie (Divergent's part 2).

That night ended rather simple with just movies, shows and food before the packing began.. We had to be prepared for our flight the next day back to Chicago :)

Last day in LA last night in Chicago

Managed to grab some breakfast at Mr. C's restaurant.

After our breakfast, it was finally time to bid goodbye to Mr C, Beverly Hills area and LA in general :') It has been a great time so far in LA & of course LV, and I'm sure I'll definitely come back again in future.. For now, this experience and trip that I've had so far has been a very satisfying one. I couldn't be any happier and more blessed for this trip :)

Our flight from LA back to Chicago lasted about 4-5 hours in total.. As soon as we touched down Chicago, the weather transition was undeniably drastic. I had to bear with not only the changes in weather as well as the time difference too. We were both tired and hungry at the same time from all the travelling we've had, so shortly after, we checked in to the hotel that we've booked, and then pug bought me to this other restaurant that he wanted me to try all along – a Japanese BBQ place.

Some mint choc chip ice-cream from Baskin Robins to end the night.

Remaining time in Chicago before flight

It was a rather difficult time throughout the entire lunch that we had in Eataly. I sort of couldn't bear the thought of separation that I was bound to face again after lunch, where we both had to head back to our so-called respective lives: me back to Manchester; him back to Champaign. It was going to be another two and a half months till' we were going to meet again. So, if I can recall back, I couldn't really talk much over lunch.. In fact, I just enjoyed the company in silence as time passed by..

I will definitely come back for Chicago in future again; as for LDR, I'm glad to admit that it's finally over because we are reunited again. Although it certainly wasn't an easy journey at all, but I think as for now, I felt that throughout all the down's and obstacles we've faced in our relationship, in my opinion, I thought it brought us closer and made our relationship stronger again.

I hope all the bored talks about relationships and my never-ending pictures + updates for my Easter trip previously didn't scare you guys at all. Hehe, in fact, I'm glad to say that the next time I'd probably writeup on my graduation and trips that I've had after exams :)

That's all for now.

Till then,
