I've watched Confessions of a Shopaholic already, since the movie came out earlier than I've expected in Melbourne. Teehee :D Lucky me. Anyway, the movie was really worth watching. I hardly even realized that I've been sitting in the cinema for a whole 2 hours. & after watching it, I find it inadequate. I want the movie to be LONGER. Hmm, well perhaps that shows how good the movie is.
But, the only thing is, for those of you who don't read the novel, you will actually find everything okay and makes sense. But for me, I really think that whatever that I've learned from the movie is totally different & a whole new story than the novel's. In other words, they've changed basically the whole storyline of the movie. I was kind of disappointed about it at first, but try to think of another way, normally, most of the movies that are based on novels usually turn out to be slightly different than the book. So yeah, you can't really expect much.
In spite of the different storyline, I find the entire movie really hilarious. Seriously. I laughed like throughout the movie because most of the scenes are just so entertaining & stupid. Isla Fisher can really act, I tell you. Heh. & I dislike the character of Alicia Bitch Long Legs, enough said. Honestly, she looks a bit older than what I've pictured. Well, that's only what I thought.
Oh, and Tarquin aka Tarkie is hot okay! He has a nice body, if I've not mistaken. Plus, he is nothing like what he's been described as in the novel: Skinny/Ugly/Fashion senseless/Weird etc. Somehow, I find him even hotter than Luke Brandon, to be frank. Teehee.
Alright, I really don't want to spoil the movie for you guys anymore. All I can say is that you should go ahead and watch the movie even though you don't read the novels :) It's really nice. The movie will definitely make you laugh till you do not stop. Lol. OK. I'm guessing that I'm blabbing a wee bit too much. So I'm off.
