Be who you want to be, not what others expect of you;

Tell me why you're so hard to forget?

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of post recently. I know I haven't updated my blog since David Archuleta's presence in KL. Haha. Been busy, as usual. Anyway, this post was supposed to be up since last week, but I've been delaying too long to even edit it. So yeah. Forgive me :D

The only reason that I'm finally blogging it's because CLASS TEST 2 is officially over! Oh well, not exactly over lah. Our class still have to resit for Chemistry paper since majority of the students in my class wanted to have another try in achieving better grades for Chemistry paper. So yeap, I have to retake it too :( Same goes to Physics. Overall, I'm really happy & kind of satisfied with my Class test 2's results. Glad that all my hard work paid off!

I really don't know where to start. A lot of things happened for the past few weeks, I barely even realize that the month of April is coming to an end. Gosh. Time flies the fastest when you're extremely busy. I noticed that. Well, well. Let's not talk about time already. Hmmm. Just so you know, I went to David Archuleta's showcase in Sunway Pyramid's last last Saturday. Correct me if I'm wrong. :) IT WAS SO GOOD! He's so adorable when he wore that outfit. I love him. But definitely, I still think that his performance in our school was waaayy better. It's only between me & him. Hahaha. I was so scared when I arrived there about 11.30. Especially when I saw the crowd as well as the unbelievably long queue, it got me panicky even though I know I wasn't late. & fyi, the showcase only starts at 3 o'clock. Haha. Yeah. & thank GOD. Some goody friends of mine let us cut queue. I know it's very wrong to cut people's queue. But I really can't risk of not entering that place & getting good seats! In the end, we still managed to get good seats. I was sitting directly opposite the stage. How nice. Thanks to them :) OHH. & the next day, our faces even appeared in the Chinese newspaper. :p It was Evonne who told us about it & brought the newspaper to show us, so yup. Lol.

MMhmm. Nice seatings. :D

& there's David Archuleta!

Aww.

Isn't he adorable? x)

Anyway, here's a video that was recorded during his performance in my school hall. Enjoy the low quality of the video :p

Next, during our school's open day, which was on last Saturday, Evonne, I & Azraei were chosen by Ms. Jasmine to be in charge of the lab demonstration thingy in the Chemistry lab. hee. I know I sound like a nerd for doing those experiment stuff, but trust me, this is different! Like totally. We did the Elephant toothpaste experiment. It was really cool. I was surprised when there were outsiders visiting the lab and even requested us to teach them to conduct the experiment. :p Well, overall, it was a great experience. On the other hand, my class even had a stall during open day. We were selling Bubble Tea & Corn Dog :) Thanks to everyone's effort & hard work, we managed to earn a lot. I was so worried that we wouldn't be able to cover up our cost. On that day, our stall was one of the stalls that has the most customers, I think. teehee.

Well in case you're curious about how an elephant toothpaste experiment would turn out? Here's a rough idea.

It actually shoots up after it reacts with those substances. I wouldn't want to go too detail about what the substances are though.

Besides that, I was really very surprised that we won the first place in the "Impersonation" competition for the open day. Guess what? Our class chose to impersonate "Little Red Riding Hood". Click this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZBZwkIAIwU if you really want to watch it. Hah. It was already unbelievable enough that our class managed to got in for the finals already. But this? Winning the first place? Was really very unexpected. Haha. I'm really happy for them. Each & everyone of them who took part in it really worked their ass off for this competition. & me! *ceh* I helped in making the props & everything. Luckily they turned out good. :p At least I deserve some credits also right? OH, & thankfully I pulled out from acting as the grandma in the skit. I was supposed to be the grandma at first, but I decided to pull out. I wasn't really in for the grandma part. Guess what. Instead of me being the grandma, teacher had chosen Sheng Yang to be the grandma. Yeah, a guy playing the grandma part. Interesting. Heehee. But surprisingly, it turned out great. From what I've heard, his part has stolen the spotlight during that day, same goes to Zamani's role as the hunter. Let me tell you, that guy is seriously good at acting. I think he really has some potential in acting, heh.

As a result of winning the first place in the Impersonation competition, we won a hundred ringgit cash, as well as a huge hamper. :) So on Monday, we basically opened up the hamper during Ms. Jasmine's class and everyone were crazy picking stuff that they want to eat. Including me, of course. Hee.

& finally, today, Mei Kee & I had to stay back in school till 3 like that due to the Culinary Dessert competition that we've participated for Paramount Championship. We made a Glazed Fruit Tart. Gosh. It was crazy. The both of us were so panic & nervous in the beginning when it came to making the dough. I even told her that I wanted to pull out already. But thank God. Really. We managed to conduct everything smoothly. I know our dessert may not be the best among the rest, but still, I'm really very happy for that the both of us have tried our bests. We tasted the pie, and it was really delicious, in Mei Kee, Li Shuen & my opinion. But according to Ruth, the judges commented that our pie's pastry wasn't cooked! Like wth. Since when. It's because they left the pie on the table for more than half an hour. It's supposed to be eaten immediately after being served. No wonder they said it wasn't really cooked because the pastry had absorbed the cream. Plus, they didn't taste the pie when it was still warm from the oven. Aiks. What to do. Anyway, I really think that we've done everything we could without giving up in the end or anything. :) & I'm happy for that.

Another thing is, Ms. Jasmine & everyone from my class helped the March baby: which is only me; & the April babies: Mei Kee, Ee Lynn, Azraei, Haris in our class to celebrate our birthdays. I know I'm the only odd one in my class. Haha. In case you're wondering why, let me tell you, our class has this monthly thing for celebrating birthdays. & I as the class treasurer will collect about RM3 every month from everyone for this mini-celebration thing :) At the same time, thank you Ms. Jasmine, for getting us the presents. *smiles* Even though they are simple, but I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

OMG. Okay. I realized that I have this habit of blogging tooooo long whenever I start blogging again after a long time. Right. I'm really sorry for the extremely long post with those never ending words. Heh. Sorry!

ps: It's like a dream after seeing David Archuleta on TV again. I can't believe with my own eyes.
ps:
I'm attending my cousin from my father's side's wedding tomorrow morning in a church! Ahhh. My first time. Can't wait to witness one :)
