First of all, this whole week has been a real complicated one. What with all those AH1N1 rumours in my school, and those cancellation of open day performances, activities etc. However, those rumours turned out to be TRUE after all. Who would expect that the Influenza AH1N1 will spread so swiftly ever since there were 2 confirmation cases at the primary block? I never would have expected that this will happen to our school.
And some of you might already have heard or not heard about this, our school's going to be closed from next Monday right up till Friday due to the instruction given by the Health Ministry. We are all advised best to practice self-quarantine at home even though some of us are not infected by the flu! Hmm, don't know whether I will be staying entirely at home during the one week off.. Because I have so many things going on too! Definitely need to be leaving the house. Oh my. I just feel that it is really a bad timing for our school to be closed during this hectic season when Mid-year exams are just a month away...
Having one week off from school when it's not supposed to be a holiday week may sound like fun or heaven to most of you out there, but hey, we still have to do lots of assignments during this one week okay! It's not like we don't have to do anything other than being quarantined at home. I basically received all the emails from my teachers about our homework. AND. There are tons of homework to do. From BM, English, all my Science subjects, Maths, Add Maths to NCC(computer) subject. I'm serious. This is the time when I would strongly prefer being in school than at home. & if we do not complete the homework after one week, we will be held for detention class after school. No joke.
I think it's really ironic when everyone of us during our Form 4s time last year wanted the school to be closed down so badly, but it didn't happen. Not even a slightest chance. However, now, when none or most of us(especially those who are in Form 5 like me) wanted our school to close down, it actually HAPPENED. I still feel that this is all happening too fast. I need time to digest all this information at once. Well, also, you can all by now assume that this is one of the most serious case that happened after the second wave of AH1N1 in the state of Selangor, because, it has been reported that there are 5 confirmed cases in my school already! And apparently, some people commented anonymously that the actual number of students who got infected by the Influenza AH1N1 disease has not been reported.
Anyway, whatever it is, I just hope for the best for everyone! I hope students who have developed any flu-like symptoms by now would go for a quick check up at the clinic or hospital asap before it gets even worse. As for those students who got infected by this terrifying & deadly Influenza, I hope & pray that each and everyone of them would recover from it! God bless.
PS; I'm not surprised if our school's going to appear on newspapers tomorrow!
PPS; I think the effort & hard work that the students & teachers have put in for open day would put to waste since our open day tomorrow is not going to involve any STUDENTS/TEACHERS at all. Some outsiders would be in charge of tomorrow's open day instead.
PPPS; Mummy & daddy have both been away for almost three days now and it feels weird without the both of them around.
XX.
LET'S HOPE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW~
