Well, today is officially my fourth day in Concord since college has started. Yesterday was a bit tiring as I had to carry 10kg of parcel from the main hall all the way back to my house which took me about 3-4 minutes to arrive.. But looking on the brighter side, I finally got most of my facial stuff already! It took the parcel long enough to arrive at the doorstep of Concord college due to certain complications. Thankfully, I still managed to settle everything and get hold of it after almost five days. Opening up the parcel and seeing most of my things again definitely helped a lot in dealing with the whole homesick thing. Mummy even packed my old favourite white napkin that I've been using it to sleep with since I was a baby. Teehee. Also, the arrival of my new school bag has certainly helped me in many ways. I definitely needed a much bigger bag since day one of college, judging by the thickness of the books that I'm often carrying around.
Apart from that, since every Wednesdays are a half-day only, I managed to take the bus to Shrewsbury town again yesterday :) I even managed to buy some supplies that I needed badly from the town. It wasn't that bad. At least the town proved to me that it isn't a ghost town, like what most people would have expected. Hee. Bought some notebooks, an unnecessary Hello Kitty keychain with my "K" initial on it, a promotional pack of Redcurrant Puffs from Marks & Spencer, a packet of green grapes(yummy), and a tablet thingy that comes in handy if you're having constipation. Yes. Those were exactly what I bought yesterday. :D
Not only that, after our prep time yesterday, the girls and I decided to go to the sports hall to play some sports. I managed to run a bit in the outdoor and played some badminton before heading back home. It wasn't as productive as I have thought, but at least I did feel tired in the end and kind of went out of breath too. So, I guess that's a good start and a good sign. Isn't it? For someone like me who hasn't been exercising for almost a month now, or more. Goodness me. I seriously think that I'm starting to feel like a fat pig all over again. HELP. Fortunately, today was a GOOD day. You'll see what I mean in a bit;)
Overall, today has been one of the best day so far. Know why?? I finally got to dance BALLET again after almost taking a two months or more break due to SPM. I actually joined the ballet club. Initially, I was a bit hesitant to join the club since myself, of all people would know that the club is definitely not everyone's choice in the college. But what the heck, I still went for it today anyway since every Thursday at 4.15pm, they have a special ballet teacher who comes in and teach ballet class. So yeap, I just tried my luck and went for the class today. To my surprise, it wasn't that bad. I thought there will only be a few people, but it ended up more than what I've expected. It was around 11 people in total who were in the ballet class. Apparently, some of them even joined the club since last term or last year. So it was definitely a good start off. Also, the teacher were quite observant and she realized that I was able to do more than most of them. Therefore, she told me that she'll allocate us properly next week and I'm also able to bring my pointe shoes along and use them to do barre work from next week onwards! *smiles* (They are just plastered all over my face right now)
Words can't explain the feeling that I have at the moment. I didn't know dancing ballet again would make me so happy. And the best part is, I don't even feel tired. One hour of ballet class just isn't enough. Imagine the hours that I'm SO used to dancing ballet before I came to Concord. It was like a weekly thing. Every week I would attend ballet classes for 4 times, and every classes lasted about one hour and a half or more. Gosh. I'm really happy. At the same time, I didn't feel left out at all since there are still some other people who actually stopped ballet for quite some time and decided to continue ballet again. So after all, I do have something in common with most of them. Not to mention, I was more than happy to hear from the teacher that she might be considering to offer us a 2 hour class.
Today's weather is not really my favourite one. I would rather have snow all over again. I wonder why did the snow lasted so short on the second day of my arrival in Concord last week :( Weather these few days is mostly rainy, and wet. Kind of troublesome if you would want to do some sports. Oh well, I guess that's about it. I should be heading to the shower right now since I did ballet just now :/ Alrighty, then I guess that's all for today!
LOVE, Krystal.
