Hey guys, I know that this blog of mine might as well just be closed down or deleted somehow since I have been deserting this blog for quite awhile now.
Well, you know what? I would say, I'm officially back on bloggin' for good again! I feel that there are so much to write about these days now that I've moved on to a new place from college in Shrewsbury, UK to another big city Manchester for my university :) All I would say is that Manchester has so far been treating me well, and I wouldn't ask for more. The new friends that I've made and met to date have indeed been a blessing and wonderful encounter to me. I feel that despite the first few weeks of terrible homesick and unadaptable feeling to the whole new idea of making new friends and not being in a boarding school like college anymore, things are starting to get right on track.
I'm really, really glad that I haven't been facing any severe difficulties in making friends, talking to people, or anything. The only problem that people may think that I'm facing right now, is not attending any parties, ie. clubbing. Hah. Some of you might be thinking, "Why not?" Well, I would say, I am honestly someone who doesn't really fancy this sort of thing, it's really not my scene. If I were have to attend clubbing events, the only reason that I will go is either I've met a group of friends and people whom I really trust to go with, or another reason is, the boyfriend is in Manchester for that day itself and decided to go for the clubbing event. Other than that, clubbing will not even occur to me. Not for now. :)
So, what I have been up to?... Well, I've just recently finished my reading week 2 weeks ago. My family flew over from Malaysia to London. Therefore, I spent my whole entire week in London with the family, and also to catch up with the boyfriend and some friends. It was overall a good week of holiday as I've spent it by meeting up with some of my closer friends who are currently studying in London, spending a lot of good times with the boyfriend since he is also in London at the moment, and at the same time, not to mention the opportunity to eat LOADSSSS of delicious & exclusive food for a week, as well as shopping! Hee. I'm such a lucky girl, I know that!
Basically, apart from studying, doing assignments, attending lectures, not partying, going to church services on Sundays, participating in student fellowship every Thursday, I've also been back on track with my dancing! I can't believe that after being so lazy for over the past 3 months and probably a year and a half of not being able to dance as much as I used to before, I am able to have the opportunity to dance all over again! This time, I am a member in the Advanced Ballet Team for University of Manchester! I am really glad that being able to make it to the team means more competitions, and also performances, which is really good. I somehow can get back to where I was again about 2 years ago before I came to the UK for college. Not only that, besides attending dance classes organised by the university itself, I've also been going for a more professional level and intensive ballet classes at the Dance House here. It's a Northern Ballet School actually, but it runs evening classes every day in a week. So, attending ballet classes at least twice for two different places in a week definitely helps me to gain back my stamina in dancing as well as in improving my dance technique in ballet again. At the same time, I'm also able to lose some unnecessary visible fats through dancing, but not hitting the gym ;) HEH. But not to mention, the downside is, I will get back my muscular and relatively huge thighs and calves once again:(
Okie dokes, I think that's probably enough for today!. Will have dance rehearsals for ballet tonight from 8.15 onwards. Hopefully everything goes well!.
till then XX
