Confidence.

Yesterday, something really sort of funny & tiny bit scary at the same time happened to me. It was when I decided to drive to my friend's place, Chloe house for the very first time.

... My contacts broke into half in my right eye just before I wanted to leave the house!!

Thank God I checked myself in the mirror before I head into the car!

& the worst part is, I've started wearing that contacts since last Friday. creeeepy. If you are curious to find out what contact lens that I was wearing, it's actually the Freshlook's Pure Hazel. There you go, I'm not trying to say that their contacts is bad or anything, but honestly, this is the second time that something like this has happened to me. Previously, the same thing happened to my right eyes again while I was at Sunway Lagoon happily playing my water rides. 

Can you imagine if such thing happened while I was driving to my friend's place? Honestly, I can't tell you how thankful I am that the incident happened soon before I could even get into the car before leaving. I totally cannot picture what worse incident could have happened back then & there if I were really driving yesterday. *BLESSED*

So, because of that incident yesterday plus my mum's slight discouragement about me driving before the whole contacts incident, my instincts & heart somehow told me that I shouldn't get into the car after that, let alone driving myself all the way to Chloe's house even though it was just a rather short distance. That was why in the end, I never had the guts or even chance to drive to Chloe's place, let alone having the chance to meet Amelia before she flies off to the states for her studies yesterday :( 

I know that I sound really 迷信 but I would rather take that incident, which happened to me before I left the house as a sign. 

Let me be honest about something here, yesterday was the first time that I've had my mindset clear on driving alone to somewhere for the very first time without anyone in the car supervising or just accompanying me. Also, the night before, I somehow had a rather weird feeling (or maybe it's a tiny bit of excitement going around?) that resulted in me constantly flipping here & there in bed for quite awhile. & just so you know, I have actually passed the "P License" long time ago since end of last year I think. Mind you all, I've successfully passed my driving test with flying colours when I was just in Form 5 about 2 years ago c: 

I reckon I am still lacking of the confidence to drive by myself to somewhere further than driving around the neigbourhood after all :/ Someone, please spare me some 勇气 + 自信 to drive myself out for once!!!! I SHOULD BE DRIVING HERE & THERE SINCE I AM NO LONGER A P LICENSE HOLDER! ughh~ Sometimes, I feel that I lack of the strong guts & balls. I think I need to borrow some of that from you guys out there. PFFT. 

Summary of my driving so far in this summer:

1. Drove to my grandma's house by myself, which is just located behind of my house.

2. Drove to Glenmarie Gardens, with my dad by my side & sis in the car. Just less than 5 minutes away from home.

3. Drove to Setia Alam Mall once. With Shermin by my side :p

4. Drove to Sunway Pyramid with Melody, Yvonne & my sis all in the car!

5. Drove a few times in the neighbourhood with my sis around! HAHA.

& YES, that's by far my driving list for this summer :X *Don't judge*

Hopefully I would be having another moment in driving the car with somebody around or by myself!!!!
