HI all! I know.. It's already the year of 2017.
Too much has happened over the last few months which have hindered me from blogging again (in a way).. I wish I could develop a habit of having the discipline and attitude to update my blog regularly. Anyway, there are some events over the last few months (including the leftovers from UK) that I would love to share on my blog before I go on to blogging the latest events in my life. Hehe. I hope it wouldn't be a bore to you guys. But here it is.. enjoy~

Rewinding back to November 18, 19 & 20

Another day back in London last year, my friend, Shayne who spends most of her time in Birmingham as a medical student decided to come down to London for a visit. So, as expected, we decided to have a nice afternoon tea session at The Lanesborough hotel.

Warm scones are served! To my surprise, their scones are really not bad.. It was definitely a place to have afternoon tea. Certainly better than the one at The Savoy's hotel!

After our endless conversations over afternoon tea, we decided to pay a visit to the Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park.. For those of you who don't know this, London will annually hold a Winter Wonderland theme park around close to end of November till beginning of January, featuring all sorts of rides for kids and adults, as well as various booths and stalls ranging from food to souvenirs.
Crowded as always but it was really a great time spent with the girls!
The next day, it was time to spend with my sister as it was her big day~ Someone finally hit the big "2"! No longer a teenager.. How fast time flies. Anyway, I decided to bring her for a lovely dinner for two at Novikov Restaurant & Bar, which we have decided to dine at the Asian part of the restaurant :) In case you're wondering, Novikov has two different sections – the Asian & Italian side.
Freshly cooked big water prawns :) Super delishhh.
Langoustines cooked with fried noodles, recommended by the chef.
Pecking duck for two.. By the end of our meal, the both of us were close to explosion. Haha. Never underestimate the portion served at Novikov restaurant :p

Happy 20th birthday <3 (20.11.16)
Someone finally turned 20th on the 20th of November.. Such a coincidence, double 20!
The next day for dinner, my sister and I craved for Burger & Lobster. A mini burger that we've decided to try for the first time consisting of some blue cheese and lobster meat with the beef patty.. In my opinion, it wasn't that bad but I guess the sister just didn't quite fancy burger overall.
Presenting to you the choice of our Catch of The Day :D If I'm not wrong, it was like around 3kg lobster for the two of us. We chose to be steamed, instead of grilled.
UHHH, definitely need this right now.

Hehe, sorry that this post is basically a very brief one.. Just wanted to share most of the food pictures with you guys :) Hope it was informative in some ways. That's all for now.. Stay tuned for the next update that is about to come soon...
