Apart from everything else so far, last Friday was one of the best times I've had with my primary schoolmates, high school mates, as well as cousins.
I started off my day with my first outing at Gardens to meet up with Grace for one last time before I leave, Sarah, and Leanne too. We had our lunch at Yuzu. Heh, it's actually my fourth time dining at this restaurant for lunch during this summer holiday. Well, that's probably because not only does their set lunch menu and set menu are of a great variation, they are all also of reasonable price. I believe it's one of the best lunch menu served apart from the Japanese restaurant, Kuriya at Bangsar Shopping Centre ;)
So, this post will just consist of pictures and more pictures, hehe. I reckon that it would be easier this way as I blog according to the flow of pictures that I post.

My set menu that wasn't from the set lunch menu. This was RM58.
From salad, beef, prawn tempura, sashimi's, sushi's, chawanmushi, teapot soup to fruits. How possibly can your lunch be incomplete with these?
My beloved Grace and I ❤ A picture that we taken before the rest arrived.
Selfieeee.
A picture of the four of us: Sarah, Krystal, Grace and Leanne. After that, Grace had to leave due to some group discussions that she had at her Uni. :/ So I guess, the next time that I see her would be the next term break, which is Christmas. Also, the main purpose that she came for this lunch was to pass me something.. Something really meaningful. I shall post it later, at the end of this post :)

After our lunch, it was just Sarah, Leanne and I that continued our next round: tea at TWG. Hehe. It's quite a routine to have tea with these girls especially at least once a year when I'm back for holidays. Definitely good ol' times. :p
We ordered two slices of chocolate cake, one of them was this Opera Cake that was incorporated with Pu-Er tea taste and chocolate. I didn't really like the taste of this cake, because not only I thought the texture of the cake was a tad too dry, but the flavour of the tea wasn't distinctive enough.
This was the second chocolate cake that we ordered. It was the chocolate cake that had Earl Grey flavour in it. For this cake itself, I thought that it wasn't too bad since the texture of the cake was just nice and it was moist too, plus, the flavour of the tea was stronger and could be tasted easily, unlike the one previously.
My pot of tea that I've ordered. It was the Emperor Rose tea, if I'm not wrong. In my opinion, the taste of this tea was really too strong, and with the policy in TWG that doesn't refill hot water for teas like these that have been brewed accurately according to the specific amount of tea leaves, water and time, it has somehow thickened and amplified the taste of the tea even more. I personally don't fancy taste of the tea that are too thick and rich, so probably that's what I thought about the tea.
A photo with these gorgeous girls <3
Another picture of us. I can so get used to the idea of having afternoon tea with these girls every time when we meet, definitely :p
Selfie, using the new selfie app on Sarah's iPhone, called B612! Haha, it's quite an interesting selfie app, do check it out if you're curious about what it offers :)
A black&white effect that we've used from the selfie app. Hehe.

Later that night, I had another dinner with my high school mates at Miam Miam Cafe in One Utama. It was really an achievement to have a third gathering during our summer holidays when most of us are back this time!
A picture of the perasan Rockstar, Evonne with the stamp of the cafe's name on the wall.
The Lobster Bisque pasta that I've ordered. Taste wasn't too bad, but the lobster looked more like a massive tiger prawn to me instead of a lobster :O Heh, obviously I can't expect the same type of lobsters from this place as the ones usually served at those fine dining restaurants.
This was Miam Miam's famous french toast. I didn't order this, but a friend of mine, Sheng Yang did. Heh, so just took the opportunity to take a picture of it. Anyways, I think it wasn't too bad, according to what he said. But in from what I see, it would have been better if the cream topping is substituted with a scoop of vanilla-flavoured ice-cream. c:
The Vanilla Soufflé that Evonne & I ordered as our dessert. This was highly recommended by the waiter who served us on that night, but to be honest, it really wasn't as good as what we've expected. The soufflé tasted more like an egg custard instead of the highly-acclaimed vanilla soufflé. *sweat face*
Our next dessert was the Matcha Soufflé. Again, another disappointment. Both Evonne & I were too ambitious since we thought the size of the portion was relatively small, therefore, we could easily finish two of them. However, due to unforeseen circumstances like the taste of the soufflé being not up to par and as delicious as we've had in mind, I wouldn't deny the fact that I actually had quite a bit of a hard time finishing these up.. Oh well :/
For every gathering that we have, there must always be at least a group picture :) Though it's not a complete picture with most of my ex-high school mates, but I think this is more than enough already!

After my gathering, it was another round of hanging out session, but this time, with my cousin sisters: Shermin and Alicia. We left One Utama to Publika that night. Overall, it was a really great catch-up over tea and cakes (Haha, yes, on a Friday night. Not drinks:p) with them at Ben's.
Salted Macadamia Caramel Cheesecake. Didn't take any bite off it, cause I was simply too full from my dinner before this.
Alicia and my chill cooler drinks, with Shermin's pot of Geisha tea and the cake. (Trying to be artistic in this picture, LOL)
Putting the new selfie app that I've just downloaded as soon as I learnt about it from Sarah. Haha, oops, the lighting isn't just great that night.
Another selfie of us three, but with half of Shermin's face cut off. Haha.

I don't know whether you guys know about this or not, but Grace has always been one of my most artistic friend, in terms of any art & craft related work. She's so talented and gifted with these abilities and creativities in this field. I definitely won't get tired or sick of seeing her artwork, whether it is some random drawings of her posts on Instagram, or something that she makes for others :)
Remember I've mentioned earlier in this post that Grace passed to me something over lunch before she left?
...Well, it's a special handmade gift of hers that she personally did for me, and I'm truly touched :')
In fact, this is not the first time she's ever made a notebook for me.. It's the second time! Everytime she never fails to surprise me with her new creations as a gift to me, and boy, I could so get used to this! *grins*
The picture below shows bits and pieces of the notebook that Grace made for me, enjoy!
☟
The front cover of the notebook. It's my initial K, but a reversed one!
Forgive me for such bad quality of the picture. Blame the bad lighting. :p LOOK what she did to the notebook! Sooo cute...!
Some of the pages in the notebook<3 Really lovely...
Some drawings of ballerina's in the pages of the notebook.. My friend is just so artistic and thoughtful :')

Hehe, I guess that's all for now! I hope I didn't bore you with my long-winded post for today.
Will be quite busy these few days, which leaves me less time to spend on my blog as I would be busy in my preparation to leave for the UK this Friday night... Speaking of which, my packing is just no where near to complete yet. Can't make up my mind what sort of shoes or bags I would wanna bring back to the UK this time.. Life's gonna be so different now that I'm in an LDR and I can't simply just hop onto the next train that heads to London from Manchester anymore :/ That explains why I'm in need of help from someone to tell me what do I need and what not anymore this time! Oh boy....
Okay, I think I'd better go now.
Till then pinky pies!
