Be who you want to be, not what others expect of you;

It's you that makes me smile.

11 January 2011
First of all, I know I'm a bit late on this post, but it's 11.1.11 today! Sorry guys, I'm following UK's time. According to UK's time, it's not over yet, so yeap. Teehee.

And most importantly, today's also a very special & unique day for someone whom I love a lot from the bottom of my heart :) & I present you, my one & only LOVELY and beautiful Po Po!!!

:) I heart her.

She cooks food that I love most. Chicken feet, braised pig leg with vinegar, vegetarian stuff and whatever it is. No one can ever cook as she does! *hearts*

I tried calling her house so many times during my free time today but couldn't get through her :/ It was a waste. It could have been another perfect time to wish her as today was a once and the last time it's ever going to be 11.1.11. I can't stop denying the fact that how special today is, given that it is someone special birthday today. :) Oh well, I just truly hope that she had a great time, and I've lost counted, she's like, 70+++ already this year? Oh gosh. Time really flies. Somehow, I just wished that I was there with her to celebrate this special day together.. Well, what to do, now that I'm studying abroad, it's likely that I'll be missing almost every special occasion among the family members.

On the other hand, today iz the second day of college. Well, what can I say? It still feels a bit weird having to go to school in such a place. I won't say it's entirely a bad thing, or a good thing; but I would put it this way, it's more of a whole new experience. It's a completely new transformation. I have to get used to the new classmates, new friends, new teachers, new classrooms and everything NEW. I certainly have to adapt to the whole new studying environment. It's quite a good thing actually because I get to walk to different classrooms in different building each time when there's a different period. That's something new to me. And I would say, I kind of enjoy doing it. By doing so, lessons feel like it's less longer than usual, and most importantly, you won't feel utterly bored sitting at the same position for over an hour. Which explains why I enjoy the whole process. :)

Overall, my second day at Concord college is not that bad. Once in a while, I still miss home, my family and everyone a lot, but I know it's something that everyone will have to go through one day. Hence, I keep telling myself that I can do this. I'm here to study & to gain new experience. Nothing more. As long as I play my role well, there shouldn't be any problems. :) Apart from that, I got to admit that I'm quite fascinated by the prep time that we're given everyday to complete our homework by the school. I actually find it really useful because it actually forces you to do your homework during those prep time or even allows you to revise the work taught by our teachers. Hmmm, that's just how I find it so far. And I'm glad that I have no problem with any of that.

Alrighty guys, I think my blog's starting to bore you because almost half of the content of this post is regarding my life at Concord college. Hah. I'm sorry about that. But that's just what I'm going to continue to talk about for the next few days. :)

Okie dokies, that pretty much sums up my post for the day. Tomorrow's going to be a half-day of lessons only! Woohoo. After that, I'm heading to town with the girls! ;)

Toodles.x
love.
